This log entry will self-destruct five seconds after I finish writing it.

Well, I made it onboard the Sherpa. I hate to think of the three injured people I left behind in that corridor. Unlike Scottish organized crime bosses and their lieutenants, they did nothing to deserve the pain I dished out to them. Well, maybe Cmdr. Rex did, but I'm not going there.

At least they all gave as good as they got. If I hadn't been portraying someone frantic with terror, I wouldn't have pressed them so hard or dislocated that one guy's shoulder. I suspect I did give Cmdr. Rex a concussion, but I know I messed up one knee. In return, she did something to my right side to remember her by.

I'm making this log entry from inside my sleeping pod because I'm tired, bored and don't have any crocheting with me. If my pod's ceiling were any lower, I might think it was a coffin. James Bond accommodations, this isn't. If it were, I'd be sharing a double-occupancy pod.

Next step: Get to Acamar III--except I see the flight plan has us dropping off some Gatherers at Starbase 80 before we continue on to Acamar. That could be very useful, if R&R are already chasing Anslo. I hope they're not; they sound like an unsavory pair. I wonder what their problem is with Anslo, anyway? What did he do, crash their wedding?

I've never been to Starbase 80, but it's supposedly the worst posting in Starfleet. According to the stories I heard at the Academy, all of the technic there dates from a century ago, half of it doesn't work, and it's populated by former Acamarian marauder rebels (Gatherers). Other sources say that it used to be like that, but it got an upgrade and is now up to modern technic and serves as a travel nexus point for an interdimensional rift.

I should fit right in.

Seriously, though, I hope it at least has a functioning intelligence department. I'm going to need that. The report I read on the place while getting my Trill spots put on said to contact someone named Pampo Gnu or to at least mention his name, so I'll do that and see if he can assist me with getting back to Starbase 109--and to a Sickbay. I am not feeling too good, and I don't dare see the Sherpa's medic.
